If Piazza Roma registers but nothing else happens, you are probably still too low. The Convinio only marks the right building; it is not the actual destination. Likewise, reaching the upper floor does not finish the job by itself. Look around the rooms with computers rather than checking cupboards, beds, or ordinary loot piles.
